ROCK AND ITS HISTORY
Rock and roll is a popular music genre that evolved in the United States during the late 1940s and early 1950s. This music genre emerged from the fusion of black rhythm, blues and white country music. It’s usually based around a twelve-bar structure and an instrumentation of guitar, double bass, and drums.

The rockers usually dress in black, leather or skin clothes. Worn and ripped jeans are common in rockers' wardrobe. Furthermore they use to wear leather boots, piercings and bracelets to complement them.

THE LYRICS
Rock lyrics talk about everything, love, rebelion, relationships, activism, motivation, superation, sadness, happiness, anxiety...etc. However, rock music has been more associated with rebellion attitudes, as well as changes in social behavior, rebellion against consumerism and conformity…etc. Despite the fact that Rock and Roll’s lyrics are usually used to solve social issues, and encourage people to rebel, they are also at a high musical skill level and the lyrics are like poetry.
